Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase of tickets for the BTC Balkans 2026 conference and attendance at the event. Please read them carefully before buying a ticket.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. Organizer
The BTC Balkans 2026 conference (the “Event”, the “Conference”) is organized by Bitcoin Club Association (Сдружение „Биткойн Клуб“), UIC (ЕИК) 208038371, entered in the Register of Non-Profit Legal Entities kept by the Bulgarian Registry Agency, with registered seat and address of management: 30 Prof. Georgi Pavlov Str., Geo Milev, Slatina district, 1111 Sofia, Bulgaria (the “Organizer”, “we”).
Event website: btcbalkans.com. Organization website: bitcoinclub.bg. Contact email: btcbalkansadm@gmail.com.
2. Scope and acceptance
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the btcbalkans.com website, the purchase of tickets, and attendance at the Event.
By purchasing a ticket, registering for the Event, or entering the venue, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not buy a ticket and do not attend the Event.
If you buy tickets for other people, you are responsible for making them aware of these Terms and for ensuring they are observed.
3. The Event
Dates: 31 October – 1 November 2026.
Venue: Inter Expo Center, 147 Tsarigradsko Shose Blvd., Sofia, Bulgaria.
Opening hours, the allocation of halls, the fringe programme (exhibition area, kids’ corner and others), and other details are published on btcbalkans.com and are subject to change.
4. Tickets and registration
Tickets are sold online through the Organizer’s authorized partners: bilet.bg for card payments, and Zaprite for Bitcoin payments (Lightning and on-chain). Payment processing and payment data are handled by the relevant provider under its own terms and privacy policy.
Single-day tickets (Saturday or Sunday), a two-day ticket, and a VIP ticket are offered. The access and benefits included with each type are described on the “Tickets” page.
A ticket is valid for the day(s) and access type stated on it and entitles one person to a single entry. Re-entry, where allowed, is managed through the venue’s access control.
After payment you receive a ticket with a QR code at the email address you provide. Keep your ticket safe and do not share it publicly — access is granted to the first person who presents a valid ticket.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are in euro (EUR) and are final for the relevant sales period. Applicable taxes and charges, if any, are included in the stated price.
Promotional (“Early bird”) prices apply until the announced deadline — 10 September 2026 inclusive. Regular prices apply thereafter. A change in price gives no right to a surcharge or to a refund on tickets already purchased.
The 10% discount for payment with Bitcoin is applied during checkout via Zaprite.
The payment provider may charge a processing fee, which is shown before you confirm your order.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
A ticket to the Event is a service related to a leisure activity for which a specific date of performance is provided. Under Article 57 of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act (transposing Directive 2011/83/EU), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to such services.
Accordingly, tickets purchased are non-refundable and amounts paid are not returned, except in the cases described in section 11 (“Cancellation, postponement and force majeure”) or where applicable law provides otherwise.
If you made a technical error when ordering (for example the wrong ticket type or quantity), contact us at btcbalkansadm@gmail.com as soon as possible and before the Event begins — we will review each case in good faith.
7. Ticket transfer and resale
You may transfer your ticket to another person free of charge or at a price that does not exceed the price you paid. To change the details on a personalized ticket, contact us in advance.
Resale of tickets for profit and sale through unauthorized channels or platforms are prohibited. The Organizer may refuse admission to, or cancel without compensation, tickets it reasonably suspects are offered or acquired in breach of these Terms.
A ticket acquired from an unauthorized source may be invalid. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for such tickets.
8. Admission and code of conduct
Every attendee enters with a valid ticket and agrees to undergo a security check, including a bag check, if requested by venue security.
The Organizer and security may refuse or terminate the admission of a person who:
- has no valid ticket or refuses a security check;
- is visibly under the influence of alcohol or other substances and endangers order;
- carries a weapon, pyrotechnics or dangerous objects;
- behaves in an aggressive, harassing, discriminatory or threatening manner;
- fails to follow the instructions of staff or the rules of Inter Expo Center.
A zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and discrimination applies at the Event. Reports can be made to on-site staff or at btcbalkansadm@gmail.com.
No refund of the ticket price is due where admission is refused or terminated because of a breach of these Terms.
9. Children and minors
Children under 12 enter free of charge, accompanied at all times by a ticket-holding adult. No separate registration is required.
Persons under 18 are admitted only together with an accompanying adult who is responsible for them.
The kids’ corner operates during announced hours and is an activity area, not a childcare service. Parents and accompanying adults remain responsible for their children at all times.
10. Changes to the programme
Speakers, topics, times, the allocation of halls, and the fringe programme are indicative and may be changed without notice.
A change, cancellation or replacement of individual speakers or sessions gives no right to a refund or to compensation.
11. Cancellation, postponement and force majeure
If the Event is cancelled in its entirety for reasons for which the Organizer is responsible, holders of valid tickets are entitled to a refund of the ticket price paid. Non-refundable fees charged by the payment provider, if any, are not refunded by the Organizer.
If the Event is postponed, or the venue or format is materially changed, tickets remain valid for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund within the period announced by the Organizer.
The Organizer is not liable for any failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), including natural disasters, fire, war, terrorism, a state of emergency, epidemic or pandemic and related measures, interruption of power or communications, strikes, or acts of public authorities or of the venue owner.
In all cases the Organizer’s refund obligation is limited to the ticket price paid. The Organizer does not reimburse travel, accommodation or other costs related to attendance.
12. Photography and filming
Photography and filming take place during the Event. By entering the venue you accept that you may be recorded and that the resulting material may be used by the Organizer and its partners to report on, archive and promote the Event and future editions, including on websites, social media and in the press, with no time limit and without payment.
If you do not wish to be recorded in a recognizable way, please tell on-site staff. We will make reasonable efforts to respect this but cannot guarantee exclusion from wide shots of the audience. Requests regarding material already published should be sent to btcbalkansadm@gmail.com.
Attendees may take photos and short videos for personal, non-commercial use. Professional or commercial recording, streaming and on-site interviews require the Organizer’s prior written consent.
13. Health and safety
Attendees follow the instructions of Event staff, security and Inter Expo Center, including evacuation instructions.
Each attendee decides for themselves whether their state of health allows attendance. Attendance is at your own risk.
14. Limitation of liability
The Organizer is liable for damages only to the extent that they are a direct and immediate consequence of its intentional act or gross negligence, and up to the amount stated in section 11.
The Organizer is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings, nor for the acts or omissions of third parties — other attendees, speakers, partners, suppliers or the venue owner.
The Organizer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits or non-material damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
15. Conference content and no financial advice
The talks, panels, presentations, materials and conversations during the Event are educational and informational in nature and reflect the personal views of the respective speakers, not a position of the Organizer.
Nothing presented at the Event or on the website constitutes investment, legal, accounting or tax advice, or an offer or recommendation to buy, sell or hold Bitcoin or any other asset.
Bitcoin and crypto-assets carry high risk and their value is highly volatile; you may lose the entire amount invested. You make all decisions independently and at your own risk, consulting a licensed professional where necessary.
16. Ticket benefits
Some tickets include additional benefits, for example a role in the “Crypto Revolution” Discord community and membership in “Bitcoin Club” for a set period.
These benefits are provided “as is”, are subject to the rules of the relevant platform or community, and may be changed or replaced with equivalents. They have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded.
17. Intellectual property
The names “BTC Balkans” and “Bitcoin Club”, the logos, graphic elements, design and texts of the website and the Event are subject to intellectual property rights of the Organizer or their respective owners.
Their use for commercial purposes, or in a way that suggests an official connection or endorsement, without prior written consent is not permitted. Ordinary personal, non-commercial sharing on social media is allowed.
18. Website and third-party services
The website is provided “as is”. The Organizer makes efforts to keep the information accurate and up to date but does not guarantee that the website will operate without interruptions or errors.
The website and the ticket purchase process contain links to third-party services, for example bilet.bg, Zaprite, Discord, card payment providers and the venue. The Organizer does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability or practices; their own terms apply.
19. Data protection
The Organizer processes personal data as a controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and applicable Bulgarian law. Data processed may include: name and email address in correspondence and registration, images from recording of the Event, and data received in connection with ticket sales.
Data is used to organize and run the Event, communicate with attendees, comply with legal obligations, and — where consent is given — to send news. The Organizer does not sell personal data.
The ticketing partners process payment data as independent controllers under their own policies.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection (kzld.bg). For questions and requests, write to btcbalkansadm@gmail.com.
20. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms and Conditions and the relationships in connection with the Event are governed by Bulgarian law.
Disputes are subject to the Bulgarian courts at the Organizer’s registered seat, except where a mandatory consumer-protection provision provides for another jurisdiction.
As a consumer you may refer a dispute to the Commission for Consumer Protection (kzp.bg) or use the European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr (the ODR platform).
Before that, please give us the chance to resolve the complaint out of court — write to us at btcbalkansadm@gmail.com.
21. Changes to these Terms
The Organizer may update these Terms and Conditions. For a ticket already purchased, the version published on the website at the time of purchase applies, unless a later change is in the attendee’s favour or is required by law.
Material changes are announced on the website. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this document.
